Over the years, our work has spanned campaigns and causes at every level; from local initiatives to the national stage. We’ve supported presidential efforts (Biden-Harris 2024, Harris-Walz 2024), congressional leaders (Congressman John Lewis, Arizona’s Adelita Grijalva), as well as nonprofits (Vote.org, NAACP, Asian American Federation) and major labor unions (SEIU).

Our founder

Carolyn Xu is a leader in paid media with nearly two decades of advertising experience and more than a decade specializing in political media. Her efforts have been nationally recognized and has won multiple awards, including a Reed Award for Best Media Buying on a Shoestring Budget (Phil Murphy for NJ Governor 2021). She was also named to the American Association of Political Consultants’ 40 Under 40 list.

Carolyn is an expert at expanding engagement among women and historically underrepresented communities. She is committed to outreach to Black, Hispanic and Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities, increasing their visibility and inclusion in national conversations around race, civic participation, and outreach.

In 2025, after nearly a decade as co-founder of Media Fortitude Partners, where she lead the firm’s media placement strategy, Carolyn exited and launched Fortae Co - a full-funnel, full-service agency bridging political and commercial media buying. Fortae represents the next chapter in her commitment to advancing equity, representation, and sustained community engagement.
